Nabila
She was born in Cairo in 1945. In Egypt she lived for twenty years, then she married and moved to Italy. Following the failure of the marriage and after various difficult situations, Nabila faces an emigrant life and, while her residences vary, she loses more and more personal references and self-control. In 1997, in the former O.P.G. of Castiglione delle Stiviere, Nabila attends the Atelier “Alce in rosso”, the painting workshop directed by Silvana Crescini. Here she begins to paint, transferring on the canvas the mental images arising from her visions and she does it, first by reading the coffee grounds and then by stimulating and interpreting the spots of color. The following year, discharged from the structure, she went to live with her daughter and interrupts the artistic activity. It will resume it later, and alternately, from 2003 onwards.
